Aged in wood barrels from 2 to 12 months. These tequilas keep their fruit and floral flavors, but pick up the additional nuances of caramel and butterscotch that the wood imparts.
Aged in oak casks for a minimum of 1 year. The oak imparts an amber color and woody flavor while the oxidation that takes place through the porous wood develops the unique bouquet and taste.
With richness akin to a fine cognac. Extra Anejo derives its complexity and depth from spending a minimum of 3 years in various oak barrels. Limited quantities of Extra Anejo tequila are produced each year. Making each glass a rare delicacy!
